Gizzard cleaning table

The poultry gizzard cleaning table is a machine used in the poultry industry to remove the tough membrane from poultry gizzards. 

We offer tables for chicken, turkey and waterfowl gizzards.

Operation:

Gizzards that are to be processed are delivered to the table by a screw conveyor.

We offer tables in both single-station and double-station configurations. In the double-station configuration (shown in the graphics), gizzards are fed from the top of the table so that each worker has easy access to the product.

The worker picks up the gizzard, checks if it has been properly emptied of its contents, and scrapes off the tough membrane by rubbing it against a set of counter-rotating sharp rollers. The proper quality of membrane removal is guaranteed by the selected rotational speed of the stripping rollers and their specialized shape.

The table has a safety switch activated by the knee, which triggers the reverse rotation of the rollers, thereby pushing out any unwanted object or the worker’s finger that has been caught.

The entire structure is mounted on a stainless steel frame that is resistant to the action of strong cleaning agents and has adjustable height.
